What My Kid Wore #10

December 27, 2017

Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope you’ve all had a truly wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. I hope you’ve enjoyed great company, good food and lots and lots of laughter.

We spent our Christmas Day morning at home with Amelia in her Christmas Eve jammies and headed over to my parents in the afternoon for Christmas dinner and gifts. I’ll share more about how our Christmas in another post but I do want to continue these WMKW posts and this week’s is very special because it’s all about Amelia’s Christmas Day dress.

The dress is from Asda and I’ve had it for months, saving it for Christmas Day but it wasn’t until Christmas Eve that I realised it only had short sleeves and she would be cold so I rushed out to town and picked up this super cute cardigan from Next, even though I bought it in store only a couple of days ago I can’t find it on their website now which is annoying. The tights are from M&S as part of a Christmas tights set with two other designs. I also saved this special gild bow that was a gift from Little French Beau just for Christmas because it matched so perfectly with the gold thread of her dress. She kept it on almost all day too.

I’m so glad I kept this dress aside to make it special because she looked so cute in it. Now that she is walking around she’s able to wear dresses more easily as she doesn’t trip over them like she did when she was crawling and trying to find her feet.

Trying to get her sit still for a nice photo in her special dress was a different matter though, especially with so many gifts to open and all the excitement going on around her, sitting still (and napping) were not on her agenda at all.
