It has been glorious over here for the last couple of days and whilst I don’t want to jynx it, it has been so lovely to see blue skies and sunshine for more than two days in a row.
I couldn’t resist the chance to get out with Amelia and let her experience the warm weather, I am such a lover of sunny days even though my skin tone doesn’t agree with it. I might have gone a little red on my neck from sitting outside to eat lunch. Why do I never learn, sun cream and hat for the baby but I forget to put anything on myself.
Being Amelia’s first summer it’s so amazing to see her experience more new things for the first time, her first trip to the seaside, first time siting in grass, we’ve even had her first taste of some food which was a stick of cucumber and some mashed carrots. She loved it! Her grip on the cucumber was amazing and she even guided the spoon of carrot to her mouth and barely wasted any of it.
I was going to wait till next week to start weaning her at the recommended 26 weeks but it seems we’ve started a week early…
