Giveaway! A Thank You From LifeAsThree

January 15, 2017

Gratitude is defined in the dictionary as a feeling of thankfulness or appreciation. We all have so much to be grateful for but I think sometimes we get so consumed with the day to day routines that we forget to stop and think about all that we have. Lets then, take a moment to think of one thing in our lives that we are truly grateful for. I’m going to start things off…

I am grateful for:

You! Every single person who reads this blog, you make it worth the time it takes to put a post together. I am thankful for every like and comment on Instagram and I read every single message and email you send me. I try to reply to everyone that I can and offer my advice or reassurance that how you feel is normal. When I first started this blog it was just for me, to document my pregnancy and experiences as a new mum. I never dreamed it would connect with so many people and help me to build my own little community of online friends all sharing advice and experiences. I love writing it and it means the world to me that you enjoy reading it too. It makes me so proud when I receive messages (either via PM or Public) from readers saying my post has helped them, or answered the question they were too scared to ask or just kept them entertained at 4am when they can’t sleep or the baby needs feeding

So, to say a proper thank you I am giving a lucky reader the chance to win a £25 Amazon gift voucher.

I’m making it dead easy for you, all you have to do is follow these steps to enter:

  • Follow LifeAsThree on Instagram by clicking here and on Facebook by clicking here
  • Leave a comment on this post below stating one thing you are grateful for in your life. Please include your Instagram name in your comment so that I find you easily.
  • Subscribe to my blog so that you never miss a post.
  • Leave a comment on my Instagram photo for this post to let me know that you have entered.

The winner will be announced on Instagram on Sunday 22nd January. Good luck, I can’t wait to read your entries.

Rachel xx

I am grateful that my friends have been lucky enough to have happy marriages, great support and healthy babies- without those things I wouldn’t have those people in my life and I in turn wouldn’t have such a wonderful circle of love around me! X

I am grateful for my family, mostly for my fiancé and my daughter, I feel so lucky to be in a happy relationship and be able to give my daughter two parents all the time, something I didn’t have and I hope everyday that we can keep it this way. But also for everyone else in my family. It is so lovely to have a good support system and I don’t think I would of coped as well when I first became a mum without them, so I am grateful for people, for family and for love xx

I am grateful for so much! I’ve got a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my belly. We’ve got amazing friends and family and we’re about to become mum and dad for the first time. I feel rich beyond all measure despite my bank account being empty!????

I am grateful for my husband. Despite the moods, tears, midnight rants, baggy maternity pyjamas (5 months on), unwashed hair, a completely different body to the one he married and a frequent need for late-night walks to the local Co-op to buy me chocolate, he is consistently supportive, helps whenever he can and gets the absolute best smiles out of Ollie. And tells me every day that I look better than ever (even know I know he’s telling porkies).

    Hi Rachel,

I’m grateful for a lot of things but since having my baby girl I’m so grateful for honest new mums like you. I relate to you sooooo much. Your posts and humour really make me feel relaxed and reassured that as hard as motherhood can be, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I love how open you are (poo explosion & no spare clothes whilst out comes to mind!). You have a positive vibe that is inspiring in every way. Please keep blogging and being you.

    X

    Hi Rachel
Since becoming a Mum, I have become even more grateful for my own mum. She has been with me through everything in my life, supported me through the ups and downs and is my biggest cheerleader. I am a better Mum because of her, and I aspire to be as great a Mum to my baby girl as she is to me.

I am grateful for the love & support my wife gives me . She is the one who pushed me to follow my dream of being a nurse even though it means we are permanently living hand to mouth for 3 years & have no social life due to work , uni & placement. Not only that I suffer from social anxiety & bouts of depression & can be bloody hard work – I couldn’t live with me !!! So even when she irritates me with her little quirks I just look at her sparkly eyes or snuggle in her arms & thank god for her xx

A bit deep, but homelessness really bothers me and so I’m grateful to have a lovely home with my family.
