On Sunday we visited a new restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday. One of the hardest things when you’re in a large group is finding somewhere that everyone will enjoy. I make this harder by being a very fussy eater.
We also wanted to try somewhere new which gets more difficult with every passing celebration so the birthday boy took to Trip Adviser in search of somewhere new and booked us in for Sunday lunch at Ceno (Southampton)
My bestie and I even turned up in matching outfits and hair, like 6 years olds – it wasn’t planed, promise!
As a venue it doesn’t have an overly impressive exterior, being tucked away under the hotel situated next door but once you step inside it was modern, light and very well decorated. Being early lunch on a Sunday we had almost the whole place to ourselves for a while.
The food was great, portions were very large and the staff were friendly.
If you live in Southampton and haven’t been to Ceno yet I recommend you give it a try.
Be sure to book though, it soon got very busy.
