Okay, how is it mid February already? This month goes by in the blink of an eye but we’re having the best time over here. Amelia seems like a different person all of a sudden, she’s learning to say yes and no when she wants things, she seems to have new words everyday; this week it’s car.
This weeks outfit isn’t anything new but it is one of my favourite jumpers Amelia’s has; it’s from M&S, her jeans are from Asda and the bow is from Little French Beau and couldn’t be a more perfect colour match.
We had a lovely weekend with family; we went to the park and vlogged it which was so much fun (there’s a video of it up on my Youtube channel if you’d like to check it out) and even had a surprise visit from Nana on Sunday too which made Amelia very excited.
She’s had a great weekend of playing and spent so much time colouring which she’s never really given much attention to until now but seems to be really enjoying it which is great.
We also shared the most wonderful moment at the weekend too, Amelia fell asleep on me for the first time in months. She will only sleep in her cot (or pram if we’re out) but unless she is poorly she will never fall asleep on me so I don’t get those sleeping baby cuddles anymore.
She completely took me by surprise at the weekend, we sat together for about 30 minutes before I transferred her to her bed, I could have sat there all day holding her and listening to her little snores.
I’m always rushing around so much at the weekends that I never have time to just sit with her like this and it was so good I’m definitely going to try to make more time for moments like this.
